Dorit Grueber is a passionate international marketing leader with extensive experience in Asia in strategic marketing, brand building and innovation.
She worked for over 20 years on both the client and agency sides and is driven by her belief that strategic marketing is applicable across all industries. She has wide-ranging experience in both B2C and B2B, starting with Kraft Foods in Germany and then Asia with a focus on the coffee and confectionery categories. From there she worked in the personal care (Sara Lee), alcoholic beverages (Asia Pacific Brewery), aviation (JetStar Asia), publishing (LexisNexis), consultancy (Effective Brands) and consumer durables (GROHE/LIXIL) industries.
She is an avid believer in building marketing capabilities to empower her teams to work successfully. Her in-depth Asia experience combined with her western upbringing allows her to quickly connect the dots between head office and regional/local offices to align strategies and teams.
Her passion for hospitality and travel led her to become a co-founder in The Hip & Happening Group, which is a Singapore-based start-up in the hospitality management business.
She lived in Hong Kong before moving to Singapore, where she now resides. She has work experience across the APAC region. Dorit has a Business Degree from the University of Cologne, Germany.
